At the very minimum, complete the Interest inventory.  It gives you an idea of what job activities you like and dislike performing.  The results are tied to career clusters and pathways which give you occupation suggestions.

Other financial aid tools are under the "My Financial Aid" tile. In this section there are 3 calculators to help you understand how much college will cost.  

Financial Aid Calulators:

  • Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) - this calulator helps you and your family estimate how much they might contribute to your college education.
  • Estimate College Costs (ECC) - this calculator helps you and your family understand all the costs (beyond tuition) that are associated with attending college.
  • Estimate Loan Cost (ELC) - this calculator helps you and your family estimate the complete cost of borrowing money from a bank or other lending institution.  
Your claim code is your ten digit student ID number

Yes! Once you login, go to the Career section.  There, you'll see a tile labeled "Career Tips". This page has helpful tips for creating a resume and writing a cover letter.

Yes! Once you login, go to College and you'll see a tile labeled "Test Preparation". There you'll see information on how to prepare for the ACT and SAT tests.

  • Click on your username showing in the upper right-hand corner
  • Go to Communication Preferences
  • To receive text messages:
    • Under Contact Info, add a phone number
    • Under SMS Settings, choose a phone number
    • Turn "on" SMS Service
    • Enter the confirmation code sent to your phone
  • To have messages forwarded to your external email address (for example gmail):
    • Under email settings, turn "on" Email Notifications
    • Enter the code from your email account
Log on to your MFH Account In the top right hand corner click your username to access your profile Click the Account Settings tab In the Claim Account Information box click the blue Claim Info button Enter your claim code (your ten digit student ID number) and your birthday then click Claim Now Then navigate to your portfolio> Edit portfolio> course history to check if your grades are there. If so you have successfully claimed your data.

  • Choose "Scholarship Search"
  • Use the filters on the left to provide scholarship results
  • Click the Scholarship Name to view details

Yes! To send your counselor a message, follow these steps:

  • Click on the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner
  • Click the "Compose" button
  • Enter the name of your counselor in the "Reciptients/Lists" field
  • Add a subject to your message
  • Write your message out int he "Message" box
  • Click Send
